Scott L(awrence) Pileckas is a molecular and cancer biologist [1][2]based in the United Kingdom currently working in social and civic services across the region based on his appointment to the Milton Keynes Child Poverty Commission in 2019 by Jeremy Beake and chaired by Hannah Markham QC[3], on the basis of his significant experience in youth outreach and local authority provision for children aged 8-25, and given his extensive subject matter expertise in homelessness and poverty profiles. Specifically, he was recruited as a Team Leader for the Winter Night Shelter MK (now rebranded as UnityMK) homeless outfit based at Unity Park Station in central Milton Keynes[4] in 2015. Alongside Mayor of Milton Keynes Sam Crooks, Scott worked in concert to promote myriad projects across the city in 2019-2021[5], particularly homelessness and the 'Time to Talk - Young People's Mental Health' on 3rd October, 2019 at Southwood School in Conniburrow, an event sponsored by Shanon Austin for Great Linford Parish Council[6]. Due to his staunchly victim-defensive posturing on child abuse and safeguarding and domestic violence, Scott was elected to the Board of Trustees for the Milton Keynes-based charity Milton Keynes Youth Counselling And Information Service Foundation Limited (d/b/a Milton Keynes Youth Information Service or MKYIS: Company Registration Number: 6180098, Charity Number: 1120074)[7]. In 2023, after many years of service, and as a lifelong youth worker since his own childhood, Scott withdrew from MKYIS in protest after his concerns of safeguarding and misconduct concerning reporting sexual abuse were ignored. MKYIS announced its bankruptcy and closure thereafter after the failures of its financial stewardship[8][9][10].

Scott was trained, certified, and deployed as one of the youngest emergency medical services technicians and firefighters in the mid-Atlantic based at Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder Company in Newark, Delaware[11]. He additionally trained extensively with the Delaware State Police[12], New Castle County Police[13], and New Castle County Paramedics[14].

He helped set up multiple franchises of the Hubbub Community Fridge Network in Great Linford, Milton Keynes and, most recently with his wife, Teresa Collings[15][16], in Towcester, Northamptonshire[17][18][19][20]. Towcester Community Fridge, or TowFood, has as of January, 2024 redistributed food surplus from the likes of Tesco, Aldi, Waitrose, and the like to the equivalent of around 46,000 meals since 2020[21].
